    Seal Part number

    Can anyone give me the part number (Isuzu, Landrover or seal maker) for a front crankshaft seal for a 4BD1?

    OK. I bought this from CBC Bearings. It looks identical to the (original?) seal I removed.

    Isuzu part number is 8943737650 - this is what the Army use.

    Trade price from Isuzu dealers is approx $16.00 TELL THEM YOU WANT TRADE!

    The damn Perentie parts list is weird. In one section it gives the part no. I quoted, in another it shows the one Ichiban quoted.

    Looking around, it seems Ichinban is correct.

    Was in town today. SKF could not help, ordered one in from the Isuzu dealer. Should be in Dubbo tomorrow, but I won't be. I'll try to arrange for someone going in to get it in the next few days - won't need it for a bit - I plan on starting to take the motor out Friday.

    Hoping you guy's can help me out?

    The Perentie engines have what the Japanese call a "Kieshiki" (or something close to that) code at the end of the engine type (4BD1) as follows;

    4BD1RBG NA version
    4BD1TRBG Turbo version

    I want to put together a 'fast moving' parts list on these engines (dont ask how, but I can do it!). Are there any other common variants of 4BD1 in the Landy's? Does anyone have a different "Kieshiki" code or engine number I can use to go off?
