nah my maths are based on male daily shaving the typical facial area (approx 500cm2?) verses females weekly? (or less) shaving XYZ cm2 of skin (various locations posible admittedly!) so a bloke would shave about 3500 cm2 a week... females ?? less by area through my exposure (pun intended!). There are lots of assumptions in my calculations (frequency of female hair reduction strategies, total area of 'defoliation' etc etc ) still a bloke could always buy the same razor heads as the missus....

A couple of days ago my wife and I returned from a trip to China, the Chinese tourists from outlying regions want to have photos taken with overseas tourists, my wife's long amber coloured hair and my beard made us magnets for photos much to the amusement of the other 24 people in our group. On lady in our group told my wife that about 40 tourists with cameras were photographing her hair from behind while we waited to enter The Forbidden City.

Our guide explained to us that fair coloured hair is like a magic spell on the Chinese, similar with a beard, the local men who try to grow a beard end up with a thin crop that gets ridiculed. They hit the jackpot with us.

Last year in Macao when we visited the tourist sightseeing hotspots, we couldn't take 6 steps without being asked into a photo, at that time my beard covered close to half my chest.

If I have gone off topic, my apologies to all, thought some might find it interesting.

try being gingerish 6'2" 110kg blue eyed with a beard. i could have charged. I SHOULD ave charged. Dam my grandmother for taking me to sunday school.
