    4BD1 Bell Housing?

    Hey guys,

Does anybody have a photo and or the dimensions for the bell housing on a standard non Landy 4BD1?

I am trying to find out whether they have the same bolt pattern as the 4BB1 in my Series.

It would be good to know if I could upgrade to the 4BD1 engine

    Cheers Paul.

Murray (Rijidij) has posted both on here. IRC all the 4B series engines have the same bellhousing bolt pattern.

Paul wanted to know dimensions of the Isuzu (not Land Rover) bell housing. Murray's pic shows the Land Rover bell housing - Isuzu has a different bolt pattern.

These 2 pics show the Isuzu bell housing (the bottom bolts are not visible due to angles pics were taken from).

    Woops........missed the 'non'

I do have a truck bellhousing, but it's buried under too many other parts to get to at the moment.

    Have a read through here:
    Isuzu 4BD1 Bell-housings. - Page 2 - Cummins 4BT & Diesel Conversions Forums

PCD for the Isuzu bolt pattern is 425mm, bolts are M10, 405mm internal diameter.
