    I recall a Toyota owner picking this on them when they were in the show room 25 years ago.
    My Stage 1 is the same with the original rims hasnt lost any wheels in its life.

    I saw it in the Quokka. There is a tdi deefer above it 9yrs younger for half the price

    If those snorkels are in the driver's line of sight they are an illegal fitment. An astute Authorised Inspector in Queensland would refuse to issue a Safety Certificate for the vehicle. A roadside inspection by a QT officer could result in a defect notice and possibly a fine. As to the wheel studs, I can not comment as I do not know the standards applicable, but fitter apprentices were taught the maxim of "three threads through".
