I average 11-11.5 L/100km in mine - that is with turbo, 33's, and driving it fairly hard.

I don't do a lot of towing, but Dave S and I drone an NA 4BD1 through the US, and at one stage we had 100km/hr headwinds and couldn't pull 4th, let alone 5th. So we did a few hundred km at 90km/h in 3rd (basically at the governor). Fuel consumtion was 16.5 L/100km for that stretch. I have never seen above 15 in mine no matter how hard I drive.

After fitting a turbo, fuel consumption has become marginally worse (say 0.5 L/100) - however that is because I sit on whatever speed I want, rather than as fast as I can go with the given headwind. Whatever the conditions, I can sit at 120km/h on the highway. The only difference is the EGTs are anywhere between 450 and 750 depending on the headwind. With an intercooler I hope the EGTs will be lower.

10.5 to 11.5 l/100 unladen town and highway, up to 15l/100 towing at 100kmh with CT and full load of fuel and touring kit on board.
550,000km on injectors and pump, turboed and intercooled.

    Generally around 10.5l / 100Km - non turbo (N/A) 4BD1 - not towing, mixture of town & hwy.

yep 10-11 for me always.. but I don't drive it hard. Non-turbo.

Logically a turbo would have to use more as there is more air to mix it with..
