Any idears? Can the centre diff be replaced/repaired with the box still in the car?
    I have an lt95/lt230t
Have you been 4x4ing, you may have wind up in the transmission. have you tried rotating the wheels when it was jacked up, it can be hard to turn just the drive shaft as there is lots of weight involved.

The centre diff is not strong, nor lubricated well enough to sustain offroad work while unlocked.

It sounds like you will have to pull the centre diff.

A one piece cross shaft is a good strength upgrade for centre diffs.

Well its all apart(I love the smell of gear oil in the morning),the one piece cross shaft that I had paid for when last rebuilt somehow turned into a standard 2 piece setup which is now a 3 piece.
Thanks to all for the advice, yes the centre diff comes out the front, yes it can be removed with T/case in the car, will it all go back together easily?I'll let you know.

Yes I'm not happy about it and the bloke that O/H it has shot through,it was about 6 years ago,so I suppose its has lasted OK.I have regularly changed oils etc.and I'm very careful with the drive line in the county specialy my centre diff ,I've been off roading with people who have cut up a track the bragged how they made it "in 2WD",I hate that.I've spent a lot of time and money to avoid wheel spin and when needed select my track preservation mode(rear maxi drive/front true track.).

That is not good for a one piece cross shaft - I would suspect a faulty item or else bad manufacture, inferior material, or heat treatment. Do you know whose make it was?

They should be many times stronger than 2 piece shafts that are reduced to half thickness where they cross.

Edit: Sorry I think I may have miss-read your post. I first thought the one piece broke into separate pieces, but on reading again, it seems like you were duped and stock 2 piece shaft were fitted instead of a one piece.

good one mate, there is not much point to spinning your wheels any way,my tyers are over $400 each and the track gets stuffed for the other users that don't have big tyers ( can't get through).

I'm about to drop in a 'new' TC into my county.. is a one peice shaft something I should upgrade while it is out?

If so, what do I ask for?

(forgive my blatant ignorance.. or potentially stupid questions..)

Yes - it is a worthwhile upgrade. I believe they are only available here:
