    Welcome to the new Extreme Modifications section.

    Anything that really shouldn't be done, hasn't been done, simply takes your breath away belongs here.

    I'll be moving some threads over in the next few days.

    Any suggestions, send me PM with links and I'll shift them.

    I'm sure the usual suspects will be turning up shortly.

    this wil be a good section ,if what size tyres , do i need HD axels , what type locker is the best ,,,,,,type questions get left out, and only the extreme mod questions get put fwd 5 link suspension ,toyo diff conversions .GQ diff conversions,internal and external roll cages ,choping up for truggies and buggies,

    well thats my thoughts ,hopefully thats the way its heading

    That pretty much covers it.

    I'm thinking that standard/common engine conversions go in Modified, unusual or difficult go in Xtreme.

    Unusual, difficult, rare go in Xtreme.

    Agree on both parts. Should be a very interesting section then.

    edit* for some clarification for myself, what should go in the modified section that shouldn't go in the normal vehicle sections? Are all things like 2" lifts, what size tyre fits etc going to be moved to modified away from the vehicle specific sections??

    What about suspension, like 4" lift and shocks to suit a D2 for touring, so is that classed as extreme, could be borderline??

    Guys, this isn't Pirate.

    My call is that if it comes in a kit with legible instructions then it probably doesn't count as extreme. If you're putting in a fair bit of tech research and knowhow to get there than it probably does.

    This is a Hardcore Tech forum.

    Start posting stuff.

    And we'll work out a better definition as we go along.

    Brilliant Simon I've been hanging out for both this and the modified section for years - i have been playing breaking modifying playing breaking modifying etc sine my first series 2A back in 1980 always wanted to have an easy to find what works and what perhaps doesn't section
