Firstly, a 1998 Disco 3.9 is a Discovery 1.
Secondly, don't expect to much change with extractors. It makes it sound better so it give the impression of more power. From my experience it did not make much change.

Just bought a 1998 Discovery 2 for the beach with the 3.9 motor. Can anybody tell me of their experiences in fitting Genie Header Extractors please? Is there a significant / noticeable increase in HP, volume, torque etc? I'll be trying to fit them myself so any hints welcomed.
Cheers
JK
