    HD Half Shafts (front) D1

Busted the LHS Front half shaft on the disco today paddling about on a little rock step, nothing crazy, next minuet, TINK... All over Rover.

Anyway, considering upgrading to something less likley to break, wouldnt have though they ever would with only 265-70 rubber.

So, whats the best bang for buck, and wheres the best/cheapest place to deal with?!?

After the half shaft is upgraded, whats the next weakest link thats likley to fail???

Best and cheapest don't usually go together. Next will be cv or diff center.....

I recommended Hi-Tough Engineering on the gold coast. If you speak to them they will let you know your cloesest retailer for them.

Or if you are not in the area get someone to go to them and buy direct for cash and send to you. I have done that many times for my brother in the uk. They will also send them in the post to you as well.

Barry's not in the business of undercutting his long serving retailers. By the time you post them, it would probably be easier to get them local to the OP.

Ashcroft are very good also, Along with Rovering Tracks. It could be argued all day long which is better. I could not tell you the price difference to your door???
