					G'day Crox8,
No lift is required or needed for a 90 to cross the Simpson.
They are massively capable as stock standard vehicles.

Plenty of people have done the Simpson and other trips with no suspension lifts with their stock defenders.

Some of the issues that may need to be addressed are: fuel and water capacity,
Spares and how to fit them if needed, possibly an upgrade of your shocks (depending on how much they are worn and what load you plan on carrying).

Also I suggest buying the workshop manual (CD) from Dave - incisor- (the owner of this forum).

 Regards,
 Mike.
