Ask him how he discovered the hydroboost!
Sorry, now no longer a fan😠
Sorry that litterally makes no sense..you copied his design and reversed it, and you send him one and didnt ask for money and didnt expect money and he quotes you normal prices when you need your rangie fixed and he is a bad person.

I really think you need to sort your snorkel issues out with him personally instead of continually bringing it up on the forums..I guarantee he doesn't even know your issue exists.

Sorry but we must have crossed wires here.
I made something that he could not provide, i made it for me, for my car, and to sell a few off to cover my costs.
Have now just found out he ripped my RH snorkel off, i never ripped his LH snorkel off, i did match it to suit though and i did discuss this with him when i was doing it and he was cool with it as he wasn't interested in it at all.
End of story with the snorkel.
Next, i needed a soft dash grab handle so i could get my car engineered, same way he does his (or did in the past) , asked if i could borrow it just for engineering, answer was no, ok hire it, will give you $500, no, $1000, no! But we can do it for you!
Gvm upgrade, what can i buy from you guys to do it to my car, and will get it inspected by his engineer, sorry no info, but it would cost you about $10k for us to do!

Sorry but i'm just not made of money, if i was he could build me a storm. And i like to work on my cars myself, as its my hobby.

Etc etc....sorry just not a fan.

So your right hand snorkel is not a rip off of his left hand snorkel..even though it's identical..but his right hand snorkel is a rip off of yours....just remember you can't get an egg without a chicken..LRA's snorkel is the chicken..as i said before talk to Andrew if you have an issue..You may find that this kind of talk is against the rules on here.

FYI engineering these days at LRA involves so much more than you describe..rules are changing all the time..the firestorms are one of the hardest cars in oz to engineer..trust me I know..and they have to be built just right to pass.

I meant ripped off as in took a mold of the snorkel i sent him. Then started doing his own. I never did that with his left hand one as i said, all i did was match it so there was now a pair available.

So why didn't you buy one of him?
Thats all i have to say about it, i'm out!

Sorry i have to say i would have done the same if you posted that on my facebook...call him and sort it out..if you sent him something and didnt ask for money..he most likely thought you where being nice and forgot.

So does anyone actually know who is selling them on ebay now, based on your mirror copy of LRA' snorkel.

Its good to know there are 2 sources..LRA and Ebay.

Vern made the RH snorkel and mould, if I read correctly. It was a mirror of the LRA passenger side snorkel.

Lockee now has Vern's Mould for the RH snorkel, but not a LH mould. ?

Vern made a RH snorkel from his own mould, and "sent" it to Andrew, who never paid a cent for it - to which (if correct) Vern has the right to invoice him for it.

Now, if Lockee has a mould..... or both moulds, can I borrow (for a small fee perhaps) so I can make a pair out of the carbon twill weave I have sitting here?

Else, I guess I'll just have to fabricate something that looks slightly different so it doesn't interfere with anyone's pending lawsuit.

Yes I have a mould for a Drivers side snorkel. Yes you can use to make one out of carbon twill weave.

Im sure everyone including Andrew appreciates you did that but at the end of the day you still coppied his design and mirrored it..I have no idea of they used your mirror or they stated from scratch for thier right mould..all i know is they can supply the same right snorkel onthe right as the left..but don't advertise it..hence why bought the eBay one and not LRA

My brother runs twin snorkels. Also running a chev.

Heres some pics, home made except for the air filter.

We went steel due to cracking a few of the glass versions and they look the bizz.

    Cheers nat
