    Does anyone recognise this bracket?

Does anyone recognise the bracket with the plate with 4 holes?

I'm looking for the bracket that bolts to the Left side chassis rail that supports the rear of the LT230, (I thought I had one but am unable to find it (too many moves)) the one I need usually has 3 holes that bolt through the chassis but this one has me stumped. More confusing is that it is bolted to a bracket that has been cut off something.

Could it be a bracket from a Rover V8 and the cut off bit used to be the chassis engine mount?

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

That is an odd one. The bit with the four holes looks like it'd mount up to a stock Series transfer case, which would support your idea about a gearbox mount, but I've got no idea about the rest of it.

Sorry to double-reply. But come to think of it, that central bit looks an awful lot like a part number 272501, another part of the left-rear mounting assembly.
