A "Chenard & Walcker Y8 Grand Sport" one of eight produced by "Bugatti" ;)
A very fast pre-war racer. Here's an older pic......
That Talbot looks to be a very fine motor car.
Maybe this one will be a little easier :) This is a very famous race car, in short was given to a young Tom for his eighteenth birthday, young Tom was very successful in it, lost it during the war, eventually got the car back and then competed in it until his death aged 95 years.
I was fortunate to meet him on several occasions at various race meetings in the uk, what a character he was.
At one race meeting in the pits, he was overheard explaining to another driver how he had altered the gear stick for quicker gear changes. A young lad was listening and piped up " You mean it took you 67 years to work that out " :D
Not a Bugatti
Not a Bristol
Whatever it is it's gorgeous.
c'mon giveitup!!!!
It's a 1928 Lea-Francis Hyper and the man was the late "Tom Delaney"
One of his sons and his daughter both race Lea-Francis cars, after his death his family donated his car to the Coventry Motor Museum. Here's another pic of the car.
Front suspension looks rather fragile.
