    From memory used a mid engined american V8, & the transaxle meant the gearshift was back to front.

    Here's a precis
    Monteverdi Hai (1970): Built to take on the Lamborghini Miura, the Swiss-built Hai was a complete brute of a car with its mid-mounted 7-litre Chrysler V8 that protruded well into the cabin. Production numbers are unknown; two is assumed.
