    My Other Toy

    Hi All.

I have owned this 71 Mustang Convertible for about 4 years now. I bought her in California where she had spent all her life. Genuine 108,000 miles with all the books and receipts. She had no rust, but the Californian sun faded her paint. After a good friend in LA gave her a new paint job, new interior and new top, she was ready to hit the road. Unfortunately due to way too many work commitments she spent most of her time in my garage after arriving in Melbourne. Then I decided to leave my job and work for myself and in the last 6 months she has seen more miles than the previous 3 1/2 years.

The 70's were not kind to the Mustang design, but alot better than the '80s.
Nice looking stang, prefer the looks of the convertable to the coupe.

You are quite right there Crash. My absolute favourite (and also on my wish list) is the 1969 Mach 1 428 Cobrajet. Unfortunately the bank balance (and garage space) means I will have to wait a little longer.

Hi roverfan. Loved Fords ever since my dad brought home a 66 Mustang coupe in 1972. I cried when he sold it a couple of years later.
