I tried a cut throat for a few months but I found that the right side of my face got a much better shave than the left, I never quite mastered it. Then I went back to the modern razor. Perhaps it is time for a revisit.

Hate shaving, every few months just grab the hair clippers and do a two all over head and face very time efficient

I havent been to barber since before I went into the Nasho's in 59.
I always cut my own, buggered if I am going to pay 2 and 6 for a hair
cut. Nowadays since my eyesight started to get a bit blurred I use an electric shaver. I just run it all over the head every couple of weeks.
In this climate, bald is best.

On the face , I have a mo and a goaty type thingy hanging off my chin.
I use a disposable bic on the rest of the face and neck.
I dont bother using cream or water or stuff, I just shave it dry before I get into the shower.
I only shave those bits when it is time to go somewhere in the Disco, untill then I couldn't care less about looking in a mirror.

    Cheers.

    Robert.

Well the stuff arrived from the shaveshed.
(I love when the postie brings packages)

I'd recommend shaveshed as the stuff was very well packaged. Shows care and attention.

Growing a "not gonna shave for 6 weeks" beard in an attempt to persuade my girl that a beard isn't all it's cracked up to be... but I'll gave it a whirl and shaved my neck.

not a cut in sight. Twas good, and that proraso stuff is nice !
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

I was just perusing my work load this weekend (a Sydney based Parade is on), needing a break, I opened AULRO and saw this thread.

I was once told the most popular (prep work) involved on Oxford Street this time of year was called the SBC, I'd hate to use a cut throat for that.

I always thought it was BSC, and a SBC was an engine.

Waxing in that area is the way to go though. Can recommend a place in North Sydney full of pretties that'll do it for you.

In terms of tha face though, the biggest advantage of using a pot of soap is the cost. $15- for a pot that lasts a year vs a can at at least $5- that lasts a month if you're lucky.

I guess there must be some reason why so many men spend so much time, effort and money scraping sharp bits of metal across their faces in an attempt to make them look more like a woman's face.
