    its simple.

    no 2.2l has enough go in it to haul a full van, the weight of the van, a trailer AND an American.
    Actually, it's that no 2.2 litre could haul 2 Americans, let alone the van or any load!

    You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

    I used to work at a place where the company provided a free bus service to and from work. They used Ford Transit van buses. Everyone used to take a turn at driving the bus each day and at one particular spot, on a hill, there would have been only about 2 people who could get the bus to pull away without stalling or reving the guts out of it. We then went to UK and hired a Transit motorhome for 3 weeks. EVERYTIME I tried to ge this heap to pull away it needed heaps of revs. Once it was mobile it went ok.
