Thread: A jewel for the petrol headed members

Some of you perhaps remember this unique day in the history of car racing in Australia.
It was in 1978 Fangio vs Brabham, Fangio with the awesome MB just sold for $22 000 000 and Jack which his much modern car

Fantastic! It goes to show though a) how advanced the Mercedes Benz actually was, and b) how good a driver Fangio was (even at 66!)

Was also nice to see the Toranas and Falcons lined up in pitlane
