    That's disgusting.

It should be titled "why rednecks shouldn't be allowed to tune diesels".

I'd like to see a clean class of diesel pulling and racing. With penalties for smoke. I've been crunching a lot of turbo sizing numbers for americans with the 5.9 6BT Cummins lately. It's actually possible to do 500hp smoke free on a single turbo.
But you'll get a much faster vehicle with a fatter torque curve with a smaller turbo at 450hp.

These clowns with oversized turbos need to run massive overfuel and water/meth etc just to get them to spool. When they do they are running so far out of the best parts of the compressor map that more boost is needed, more turbine power is required which adds more backpressure to the engine.

This looks exactly like the circumstances where they had a drag racing accident and that Australian guy got charged. Imagine the damage these things would cause running astray.
