They forgot the second major flaw of the Pinto.
1. They would burst into flames when hit from behind.
2. The trans had a fault where it would automatically jump into reverse.

SupporterI had a Matchbox model of one of these as a kid, I always assumed they were 4WD.
It was actually ahead of its time if you at the number of new vehicles dressed up with tough plastic trims, and no real 4WD ability
