Love it, pity I've put a scratch in the bezel so it's now 41
I do like good watches, along with good shoes

I've got the Loyal Adventurer, and have had it for about 4 years. It's pretty hefty, and feels high quality, though it went back for a warranty repair when the second sweep hand fell off.

I can only wear watches that are 100% stainless - anything else just rots or discolours. Leather straps fall apart in a year or so, anything that is plated (especially nickel plated) or painted the colouring just comes off after a few months.

I've chucked some pretty expensive watches out as a result.

Here is one I sold last year as I no longer fly:

It was a Breitling Emergency Global Orbiter celebrating the 1999 round the world balloon flight.

Still have my grandfathers Omega from around the 1930's Still works a treat.

Have a few more as well

    They're certainly hefty!
I had one of the caps for the pins in the bad fall out, didn't bother trying for any warranty on it, just replaced it.

This is the other decent watch in my collection that still works, have several cheapy digital ones for messy times
It's my Grand Fathers old watch, still works just fine, needs a tidy up though. Loren.

The Phantom - Oslo Blue 2001 Td5 SE.
Half dead but will live again!

    Nina - Chawton White 2003 Td5 S
    Slowly being improved
