It would be nice to see him in a Volvo, Nissan or MB team to add a bit of interest in the class.
Marcos Ambrose will be leaving Nascar at the end of the year, & returning to Australia.
Don't know whether Marcos would be totally happy with what He achieved in the U.S., but He certainly gave it his best shot, & gained enormous respect from the Nascar fraternity.
I hope He does return to V8 Supercars, ...if He does, I reckon any of the teams would sign him up at the speed of a thousand gazelles. He would add enormous interest to the series.

Yes, Tuesday will be the day I think, according to Dick Johnson who was interviewed at Sandown. my prediction is that the Penske deal is a goer & that Ambrose will drive for that team,...which will be awesome.

The official confirmation of Marcos Ambrose's return to the V8 supercars with Team Penske/Dick Johnson racing is set to take place on Tuesday morning.Team Penske is now set to reveal that it will run Ambrose under a V8 supercars racing entitlements contract it has purchased from DJR's Steve Brabeck.
Ambrose's car is expected to run out of DJR's workshop alongside the Queensland teams other entry.Backing will likely come from Penske's Australian business interests mainly Western star trucks and the recently launched Penske truck rentals.
The team and Ambrose are also known to remain in the hunt for local sponsors.Whether the DJR-Penske alliance will continue to use DJR's Ford Falcon gear is unclear.
While Ford has yet to show any public interest in any such program, time is now limited to get another marque up and running for 2015.Ambrose,who will return with his family to live in Tasmania, refused to drawn on details of his future during the announcement of his exit from Richard Pretty Motorsports.
Penske president Tim Cindric posted on twitter that an update will come at 11 am Tuesday
