    F1 Funding Needs To Change.

Below is a couple of links into the worsening money crisis that the smaller teams are dealing with and some measures to try and fix it. Good luck Bernie.

The money that is generated by the sport needs to be spread more evenly. Without the smaller teams where does the next generation of drivers learn their craft?

If this is how small the grid will be next year, what will the future hold?

I think the list will be shorter than that, Manor wont be there, doubts are raised over Force India.
Bernie is getting rather cranky in old age, flipping indecisive comments from race to race, time for a change........

Will also be a shame for Jenson to finish, not on his terms!!!
Good to see the Daniel is the BEST out there by far, if he had AMG power plant, title would be his.

Well said mate, the future is looking very unclear at the moment. And yes young Daniel has surpassed any expectation anyone could have put on him. And if he was powered by a Mercedes engine who knows how far he would be ahead. He has made a 4 time world champion look very ordinary this season. And lastly it is sad to see what has happened to Button,he is a driver i always liked.

Bernie wont give up until he is, sad to say dead. For someone to make formula one what it is, he will undo what he has done by then. Would not be surprised if it is intentional, just to say "here you build it back up and try and beat me". Just to prove who is the man...

Though better split of the money and some form of budget restrictions need to be in place. Gone are the days of new teams being able to come in and have some upsets to establish themselves. That is what people would like to see, competition and not who has the biggest budget, which is happening in many forms of racing now. Teams/Manufacturers don't want competition, they find a formula and spend money in it to show who is the best, albeit they have the budget and or resources and contacts to stifle competition to be on top.

They need to make it technically simpler and cheaper for the teams.

Just like domestically, the V8 Supercars have basically made it impossible for smaller privateers due to the fabrication and engineering required - so there is no entry point for new teams and in Forumla1 if you're not already in, big and in bed with technical associations then you will never run a car or generate a startup and sustainable budget.
    Cheers

Ever wondered where the the money goes? When you read this article it becomes very clear why the smaller teams have no chance of competing.

Wow how generous of you Bernie!!! If you didn't ruin the sport, this would not have happened in the first place.
