Thread: Longford Revival Racing this weekend

What an interesting weekend this would have been. The unfortunate part about Longford is that not many young motor racing enthusiast know that Longford in Tasmania has such a history or even excised Over the years I have taken a couple of mainland mates to pub corner for a beer and neither could believe what we once had, Some of the worlds top driver drove that circuit not once but year after year. From memory it was rated as the best track in the southern hemisphere or south pacific ??

Yes, an amazing racetrack. I only went once ,1961,those open wheelers ,all the world class drivers and spectators inches away.
