    MoveLater2 Australian F1 Grand Prix 2019.

I didn't go, but I did enjoy the excellent Telecast & driver interviews etc. I thought Albert Park looked absolutely brilliant in the perfect weather which attracted the best crowds since 2005.
A very good drive by Valtteri Bottas, although maybe Lewis wouldn't be too impressed. Mercedes seemed to have maintained their edge. Don't they always say, "The more you spend, the faster you go"?! I read recently that the Mercedes Team runs out of two factories in England employing 200+ people with a budget in excess of $500M.

Missed it all this year due to Corowa Miltary Swim In, but I do like the event. Usually there working so get to see everything close up, including pit lane, which is always fascinating. Cars do sound a bit crap these days since noise regs, but yeah, I like it. 👍

Probably not what you’re thinking. 😉

    NSW - Corowa Military Swim In - March 11th to 17th 2019

This year was the 40th anniversary of the event and was the ‘Year of the Amphibian’ - which is what kicked it off and hence the name ‘Swim in’.

There were many GPA Jeeps, 2 Ducks, a Lark and a Weasel that were there for a swim. Unfortunately a Stallwart had a serious accident on the way up after being hit by a truck. The driver is still in a Critical condition. 😞

Not Ron I hope, I'll be real sad even though I've never met him.

Just as sad anyway that someone was hurt going off to do what they love, with their beloved(s).

Aahh Right, No, not what I was thinking!
The closest I have come to that sort of thing was being taken for a ride in a DUKW off the beach into the sea in the UK a LONG time ago, at which time it was not uncommon for them to be used as a tourist attraction for this purpose.
