    2019 Repco Reliability Retrial.

I have a few friends competing in this event, one driving a 924 Porsche, and others driving Brock & various other early model Commodores. They are having an absolute ball, & are being enthusiastically welcomed wherever they go.
Maybe some on here know a competitor?

I'd love to do one of these sort of car events one day. Everyone seems to have a great time doing it.

Was interesting seeing all the cars and meeting a few of the competitors when they overnighted in Kalgoorlie the other night.
    Cheers .........

Looks like a cracker of an event. 202 a Yellow Renault is being run by a friend, Mal McCann, apparently the only complete crew that ran the original event. I oils live to be doing it.

Funny you should say that, because owning a Mk 1 Austin Lancer (V8Ian!) MANY years ago, I have been noticing that car too. I fitted an 1800cc MGB motor to my Lancer along with a myriad other mods BLMC "Special Tuning" bits, exhaust, transmission, suspension etc, and so it was a very nice car, I always lusted after a Wolseley 1500 with it's wooden dash etc, but I've never seen, in the flesh, a Riley 1.5 like this, which had twin SUs from the factory. Those were the days!
