Where else but The Parking Lot

There doesn't appear to be a suitable place for this so...

Every 2nd Saturday from 6pm there is a car show in Penrith - free entry. Show what you brung. I've been meaning to go to it for months but something always got in the way.

Last Saturday I made it and was surprised at just how many cars, classic, hotrods, modern modified, etc., that there were there and just how many spectators were there.

I took a camera but only photographed a few that grabbed my attention. These are straight from the camera, I haven't adjusted them.

Very cool. What class of racing is the open wheeler? It doesn't look like it is circuit racing. Wondered if it was drag or speed?

Re the open wheeler, I don't know. It had no front brakes and was powered by a Toyota 2000 DOHC engine. I should have asked.

I just Googled it and found this: Russell Mack - Dry Lakes Racers Australia

There is a similar event (much smaller) most Sunday mornings during the summer at the council car park (next to Dan Murphy’s) in Richmond.
