    Beach Cricket

Did anyone watch the Beach Cricket on TV yesterday. It was played over in Perth some where and they had even made o sort of playing field on the beach. It is the first time I have watched it and found it more entertaining and exciting than normal cricket.
Its good to seem them just try and smash the ball around. By the look of it the teams are made up out of the retired cricket legends. That’s also great to see them at it again.
I imagine it will be on TV again in a week or two.
I still cant pick which is the better of the new cricket off breads, 20/20 or beach cricket.

    Funny stuff isn't it?

Gotta hit the ball big time or it just bogs in the sand, fascinating.......

I saw that a couple of weeks ago, not bad for some light entertainment, but I agree with pedro, 20/20 games are hard to beat, but beach cricket is No.1 for entertainment.

G'day All, You good folk need a Land Rover to rebuild, so whats your excuse Pheeny??? cheers Dennis
PS I had 2 of my Land Rovers out on Saturday, I took 'Lady' Series 2 for her first run, it was a good feeling no real problems just need to get them insured so I can get out further and listen to all her funny little noises.

Beach Cricket what a game it was back on channel Ten today with Australia playing the West Indies at Sydney. Some great fun cricket, the Australian team smashed some great 6's.
Australia beat the West Indies team and will be in the final.
Tomorrow the Pom’s and the West Indies will play to see who will play Australia in the final.

Some of the bowling today was brilliant. If they run another series next year I will make the effort to go to a game. Must say they have done extremely well with the weather this year.

Wasn’t to bad at my place watching the show out by the pool, TV, esky sunlounge.

I think the PM made an appearance today at the beach game in Sydney.

    2008 Series has started

The new series started today and was a cracker, Hicks from England belted the crap out of the Aust team unfortunately but was a good game to watch.
Cant wait till the 19th and 20th when they will be playing on a Gold Coast beach.
