    Lol....

    Hmmm P's on 17th Birthday...2003

    1. Ford Meteor - 1986 nick named the Rocket...it was rather gutless. Passed back to my parents in full working order!
    2. Holden Rodeo - 1992 the work vehicle, for both me and my partner.
    3. Daihatsu Rocky - 1985 named Nifty Neville, after his number plate.
    4. LR 110 - 1985 currently not named, nor really tested...we'll see, we'll see...

Does anyone get the feeling we're going backwards...? We'll catch up to you 'old guys' eventually!

    My car list...

    Vehicles of the past:
    1978 Series III 2.6L ex-military police LWB
1969 Series IIA station wagon, with 161 holden engine and shiny silver wheels - drove from Townsville to Darwin to Melbourne in that thing; it served me very well through my first degree in NQ.
    1997 Discovery Tdi 'S' manual
    1982 4.6L V8 Stage 1 Ute - now in Ballarat, I believe
1994 Range Rover - what else should a Naval Officer drive?

    Present vehicles:
1968 Series IIA SWB Diesel - 'Gromit' - still in my garage
2005 Daihatsu Charade - my first non-Land Rover after 11 years of driving!

    ...and to look forward to:
300Tdi 110 to drive around Africa in and bring back to Australia
    1920's Chev Tourer
Chev Blitz - as soon as I work out a reason to justify such a truck!
1957 Austin Healey bug-eye Sprite - because she wants one!

I'm fairly new to the Landrover fold, although I have always liked them ever since seeing the track based Counties that were across the road from where I was working in the mid eighties. I thought they were awsome.

    My list of cars are:-

    1974 Holden Hq Panel van
This one was cop bait and I was pulled over countless times. Well, I did count till I lost track at 52!

    1986 Nissan 720 dual cab
My one and only brand new car. It was red with white lettering and used to put my 'P' plate over the 'N' in nissan on the tailgate .. . It was costing too much for a young bloke so I sold it after a year..

    1984 Suzuki Sierra
Great car,Sold it to get the FB and deposit to buy a house.

    1960 Holden Fb
Always liked the Fb holden ... Still have this car after 19years

    1964 Holden Eh wagon
    A great car

    1985 Toyota FourRunner
A bit Lemony .... sold after a year..

    1991 Nissan Pathfinder
One of the best cars I've owned and still have.. Have done many outback
    trips in this one..

    1975 LandRover FC101
Ahh, the 101, what can I say .. its an awsome machine
Learning heaps .. fixing a few teething problems with it

    Cheers
    Wayne..

1st car - FX holden ute, back in 64. Drove it all over the Watagans back then.

1st 4x4 - swb FJ40 landcruiser. Can't remember the year. Rolled off a mountain in Barrington Tops one midnight.

1st rover 4x4 - Rangie (1st model rangie bought to Aus). Can't remember the year. Had over 250,000 miles on it when sold and never let me down or had to have any major parts.

Since then have only had rangie 4x4's until current disco (still have 2 rangie projects).

    Biggest vehicle regrets:

Not getting a series landie in the early days, when I was keen on them.

Missing out twice on 110 isuzu traybacks. When I missed these, I got something else, now making a rangie trayback with 4BD1-T.

    Unhappy

P plates back when I was 16 and 9 months.

1st - Beige Holden HK 161 red motor which smoked like crazy
2nd - 73 XB Fairmont 302 auto with lots of chrome
    3rd - Holden 1985 RB Gemini POS
4th - Mutsubishi Cordia Turbo, $10G stereo, porsche injectors, maztec engine management, boost wound up, intercooler and ceramic turbo. That went so fast and cornered like it was on rails!
5th - Ford EF Falcon stationwagon - bought this after we got married and I traded the Cordia in on it!
    6th - New Ford Laser
    7th - 1996 Ford taurus
8th - Subaru wagon with the 1400cc donk and the tyre under the bonnet. My first so called 4x4?
9th - Datsun 180B with SSS running gear
    10th - 2002 Daihatsu Charade 993cc!
11th - Kia Rio stationwagon with mags, grapghics and the like
12th - Jeep Grand Cherooke ZJ model, my true first 4x4!
13th - Nissan navara dual cab, lifted, 31's and bar work
14th - 2003 Commodore sedan, we modified to an R8 HSV replica with 18" chrome rims and so on
    15th - MY06 WH Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.0 CRD
    16th - 2002 Puegoet 206cc for the wife
    17th - 88 Range Rover with the 350 Chev

These 3 are the current cars.
We have decided to not get anymore cars as we have had too many and I have only been driving for 15 years. Think of all the loans I have paid out, makes me want to cry!
