I restored my old 1962 MK2, 3.8 Manual over about 4 years with my Dad, dose'nt matter where you start, it's all xpensive and time consuming, had a blast thouugh, learnt a lot, good father and son thing, the body is easily the most important thing, everything else is relatively easy, expensive but easy., gotta start with a good body though, mine had two rust spots in the whoe car and i still burnt $7.5k on the body...boy did it look good when finished though.
