SubscriberIt is a variant of the commodore v6. All the flash stuff goes to Cadillac first as its GM's premium brand and then filters down through. The commodore will get direct injection somewhere along the line (possibly a HSV variant will get it first). If you guys are interested Wheels magazine regularly has news and information regarding this engine and development done by Holden for the wider GM brand.
