    The metal finishing procedures used in the metal trades are in order from beginning, fettling, grinding, polishing, buffing. Buffing is sometimes called "colouring".
    There was a series of articles on this for amateurs in "Skinned Knuckles" magazine a few years ago.

    Great insperation for me, Ive been building a scale model drivable Scimitar tank. Ive only just started so not to much to look at but here are a few shots
