    Bayonet / knife collectors

Following the Lee Enfield thread i'[d see if we have any bayonet / knife collectors in here.

I'm a fan, but only just got around to getting my hands on a L1A1 bayonet.

I'd love a F88 bayonet, but i'm told that the break easily, as well as being uncommon on the civilian market.

I have a few 303 bayonets 07 pattern from WW1 and 2; a few AK and FN type bayonets as well as a L1A1 which I use on pigs.

I also have a genuine WW2 japanese sword and a selection of swords from islands to our north; along with ceremonial bow / arrows etc.

Break easily, where did you hear that.. I have one if your talking about the original service M9 "buck" knife, blade is very tough.. got given it when went to africa and they didn't ask for it back.
Then they went to the cheaper M16 varient as at $350 per M9 Buck was hurting the tax payers.
Richard maybe the broke ones are the cheap copies you can get..Not the original DAD marked ones.
My favourite though is my SLR bayonet..looks to sexy to stab someone with

Well I have my SLR bayonet now, brand new, never been used. A bit hard to get in and out, but nice. Now I just need to get a hold of a frog for it.

I heard from a couple of mates in defence that they had trouble with them breaking, but that may have been early ones or something. it was a while ago now. So the F88 uses a M9 bayonet (or did). Now I know what to chase
