On the 3rd and 4th of May I will be competing (navigating) in the Donald 500. This is the second round of the Australian Off Road Championship.

I have done a LOT of kays in a race car with Russel,, just that this one is geared for over 200,,

apparently none of the yank tanks can touch us up there,,
which is probably a good thing

Leaving sunny Maryborough Tuesday afternoon,,
back the following wednesday morning.
Using Russells brand new 3L Patrol to tow with,,
This is his second one and quite happy with the way it tows,, 2700 at 100

and the only thing I have to pay for the entire week is my booze---

Looks punishing, Pedro. How does your neck feel after a day of having your helmeted head thrown about?

Looks like it would be a geat experience. You'd have to have confidence in the driver!

Its like any other sport,, you train hard, and hope for the best,,

I havent had a helmet on in --- gosh,, 5 years??
as for training---

oh dear,,,

mind you-- I havent had a decent adrenaline rush in 5 years either

Just look out for this, that's what I ride in.

Yeah, it's going to be a fast(er) event this year, with a lot of the big boys 'n' their toys in town.

Good on the whole town of Donald for getting behind the sport too!!
