Ours did that once when the kids put laundry detergent in instead of the right stuff,and it all foamed up & flooded everywhere,there is a pcb under the slide out section of the machine.I left it a day to dry out and all ok.

Ours is a slide out 2 draw model.

Sounds like yours is a different model though,try turning power off at switch for a few moments,it may clear it. If not may have a fault& need a tech.

Had the same problem with our F&P dish washer, 2 drawer one. What happened to ours was the little motors that wind the top shut to seal them when you start to wash had failed. A very common failure. Had all ours replaced with revised motors and only cost about $120 (from memory), took the techie about 15 minutes to do the job

just to add, we had no leak that could been seen but there was a small amount of water on the bottom under the bottom draw and this is where the sensor is that triggers the fault

It hasn't even flooded - just opened the door and beep beep beep - F1 code comes up but no flood.

hey Gary,, have you had any problems with the front control panel cracking?
Ours is cracked around the latch area, causing the latch not to lock up,
This is deemed a "Divorce Level" problem,,,

Thanks for all the comments - guess the techo man will be called out tomorrow.

As`far as the plastic bits at the front go all mine have cracked at least once - I replaced the one around the latch a couple of years back (cost was $50) but the new one has cracked again and I have repaired it with epoxy putty - the same also has happen to the bottom one - plastic puty again.

It would seem the heat of the dishwasher makes the plastic brittle and it then breaks.

I bet the repairman breaks my repairs and I will now need to spend even more unnecessary $$$ replacing the plastic bits.
