    Did you know a helicopter could do this?

    loved it , fantastic to do in models, impossible to do in full scale though

    The real thing was maintaining positive G during most of that - there are helos that can do full on aerobatics but not like the models. If there was the demand I am sure real helos could be built to do similar stuff to the models - the main limitations would be the G forces able to be sustained by the pilot. The jerky and rapid changes of directions that models can do could not be done by piloted real helos.

    Hi,
    it must be the devil in me, but can you imagine the panic if something like that buzzed a presidential motorcade or some impressive VIP occasion.
    How could you swat something down that is so agile?
    I guess they would just jam all frequencies for a few seconds or so till it crashed.
