G'day Aus.
Hey Drifter i found me camera i will take a pic later & put it up you'll know more about it than me . Aus would know to having the camera shop...
Here it is its not a very good pic i took it with my phone...

By the look of the Instruction Manual, Banjo, I would say the camera dates back to the late 80's maybe early 90's.:)
Yeah its a good camera its just a shame you can't convert them to digital. Have to buy a whole new camera body..
They were very good cameras and I am willing to bet that, if it is mechanically sound, it'll still do the goods for you.
I used to have a 1000N and bought it over to OZ with me when I migrated. Couple of years later I gave it to a friends daughter as she needed a film camera for her photography studies at uni. You would think I had given her the holy grail - her parents shouted me meals and the like - and gave me their camper trailer!
Back home I used to use it for all sorts of photography - but primarily motor racing.
I am thinking I bought mine around 1992 or 1993 or so.
That is the reason I went with Canon digital bodies - because of all the lenses I had back then for the Canon film camera.Quote:

That would be about right, the Canon 1000N replaced the 500N so that would place Banjo's camera as about 1988/89 vintage!!!:)Quote:
