Hey Banjo, it's only one day, tomorrow is another day, one swallow does not a summer make etc.
Don't sell the tools and Landy stuff. Sounds to me like you need a project!!!
What happened to the plan to build a relocatable shed?
I know i just have to get motivated .We are looking into the shed or even a carport. The shipping containers that i have used before are all full so i cant use one of them....
Its a bit better today the kids are back at school so there is some normality hey have to many holidays couldn't they just have the xmas hols..
Project yes would love another one .Doesn't seem to be to much about round here..
I am going to make some sliders for sale that wll give me something to do for a while..
Hey Paul how you gettin on with your puter , It hasn't learnt to fly out the window yet ;) .
Up in the Maitland area today, so I called in to see the Freelander, quick check over, every thing seems OK, will pick it up tomorrow.
Couple of little niggles, petrol tank nearly empty, was full when I turned the car over for repair. Car needs a wash, would've thought they would have done that after what they put me through. Would have appreciated a 90,000K service as a "public relations" gesture, so I have purchased some good quality synthetic oil and a filter and will do an oil change tomorrow.
Its not the bloke at Maitland's fault over the whole sorry saga although I have bent his ear a couple of times when I have been a bit gnarly.
Anyrate pickup the car tomorrow and looking forward to a little bit of trouble free motoring for a while!!!!:):)
That great news . We hope its all smooth from now on..
I put my old holden in to get a box rebuilt years ago , It took them 3 weeks & i couldn't work out why & they just kept telling us they where waiting on parts. Anyway i was out doing a delivery for work oneday & seen this nice old HJ coming towards me & it sounded sweet then when it got close i had a look at the number plate , Hey thats my freakin car so i did the delivery i had to do then on the way back i seen it again so i followed it & when he stoped I said WTF are you doing with my car , Its not yours i borrowed it from a mate so i opend the boot & said so is it still not mine na mate its my mates. So i reset the kill switches as there where 4 of them all hooked up together & said fine see if it starts with your key he tryed it nothing ..The kill switches had to be in a sertain way for it to start ..Well they had to get it towed back to the bloke who was to rebuild the box at there expence he wasn't happy..Then i rolled up the next day & gave him an ear full & refused to pay the bill & he said see you in court no worries i took a photo of the car while your mate was driving & it no where near your place of work so you cant say it was a test drive Plus i know the tow truck driver who picked it up..He gave me the keys & said ****off.. So i flicked all the kill switches to where they needed to be & it was fine & i drove away . The bloke was dumb founded when i did that & just drove away..They couldn't work it out the combo for the switches...
Hey Aus your home early today , did you have to goto Sidunee early this mornin..
Nah, mate I'm between jobs, will head out again at about 2.30 and should be home at about 5pm. However we are worried about my elderly father-in-law at the moment, he has taken a turn (has had them before) and we are waiting on the results of blood tests, they think he's aneamic and may have to go to JHH for a blood transfusion. So it's wait and see at the moment!!!:(
Banjo, once Winston Churchill was asked to give a speech to University Students on the secret of his success. I will admit that is the only speech that Churchill gave that I have memorised. I will quote it entirely exactly how Churchill gave it, as I have memorized Churchill's speech. Hoping it helps you.
Churchill rose and went to the lectern and said:--
"Never give up, Never give Up.
Never never, never give up."
And then Churchill sat down.
