Hey Drifter i was also looking at some model rc planes thought that would be fun to build & then get to fly then i saw the prices & nearly fell off me bloody chair :eek::twisted:..
I used to do the rc cars alot but have realy lost interest in them.
Had RC boat that was good it had a whipper snipper motor in it was good fun till oneday it just didn't come back..:mad:..
How bad is the NSW education , I was talking to fred on friday cause said she had a test for sceince .. & she was telling me about a cheat sheet she had & i said if you get court it will go against the year 10 cert.. She & karen then told me that they are alowd to have a cheat sheet :eek: appently it was in the letter that came home..
Why bother doing the test if they are aloud to cheat..
Thats like the computers they got Fred said they have only used it a few times & half the kids don't even take them to school...
Most of my planes started as low as $450 but, by the time you add the motors and batteries and servos... I think the cheapest I have here is around the $1300 mark.Quote:

I have never done the boat thing - same for planes with floats - never fancied getting wet retrieving them if something went wrong.

I wouldn't hold yer breath. I was just letting it die. There are way more interesting builds going on and I can learn from them.
