Banjo, a Debit Card is a convenient way of accessing your own money, it saves you carrying around great wads of dough and risking being robbed. The card does not work if you don't have money in your account to cover it. As far as the internet is concerned you can (perhaps) link your paypal account to your Debit Card so that when you purchase something on the Internet, Paypal then deducts the purchase price from your Debit Card. ( Must admit I am not 100% sure with Debit Cards and Paypal, I know it works with Credit Cards, but you can easily check with Paypal).:):)
Debit cards work with paypal, at least they do for me. I like debit as I'm only spending my money. The disadvantage is that it costs a few dollars each month for the privilege. I like the convenience, but in truth, hardly use it.
:)
All the best for 2011 everyone.
Hey Banj, many thanks today for your assistance in changing the oil in the rear diff on my Freelander, much appreciated. I have been doing some research on the IRD unit and it uses 1.1 litres of 75w-90 oil same as the rear diff, so we could have changed it as you suggested. If its not done in the service at ALL FOURX4 in a couple of weeks, I will get some more oil and do it.Apparently, there is a drain plug on the IRD unit, so the oil will not have to be sucked out. I'll check with ALL FOURx4 about changing the oil in the IRD unit.:):)
