All a bit shocked by the flooding, I'd guess.
We're fine thanks but many others are not.
Great to hear, mate. the damage is pretty devastating. I have a daughter that lives at Forrest Lakes and (thank God) she is OK!!!:) I have been in regular contact with her and she says she is on an elevated area and missed the worst of it!!:)
How's life 'On the Buses' Aus?
Well na we still here , been spending time with Karen & the kids .Even went for a slow walk round the block with Karen last night & down the spare block across the road as we been here 12 months & never new where it went ..Out a fair bit now doing heaps here for karen paying the bills & groceries dont think Karen like me doing the grocery shopping with the kids cause she keeps asking why have we got these or why did you get this & WHY have we got so much junk food (chips & chocolate)..
Only have the baulkhead to get off Harry now the can get into it with the pressure cleaner & cut the gearbox Xmember out so can be bolted not welded that way i dont have to take half the car apart just to get the gearbox out..
Na we had ours a couple of years ago , & where very lucky to of only lost 4 lives it could of been worse but thankfully it wasnt & the water resided pretty quick...

(must be global warming)
(or the ozone hole)..
I think its just a return to normal weather, after the unusual 10 year drought period. We used to have lots of floods when I was a kid.
We had rain right through the year (except August) this year.
La Nina apparently and it is now only just warming up enough to stop the rain in the southern states. Wet season hasn't really kicked in here yet.
