Yep, one of our lady bus drivers has just come back from Coonabarraban. Her parents have lost their home to the bush fires up there. She tells me that the scenes of desolation are unbelievable and all the dead animals is particularly heartrending.

I saw in a recent newspaper they had a map of the Coonabarraban fires stretched over a map of Sydney, to show how massive the area was that was burnt out, now I don't know Coonabarraban, but I do know Sydney and the area is absolutely huge!!

It is raining really hard here now, supposed to get worse Ah well as least we didn't go camping this weekend.

Did our own Australia Day thing, sausage on the BBQ thing, inside on the hot plate with Brian's snags, onion , BBQ sauce, bacon and cheese....YUM

I saw that engine on there and yeah I think i would spend a few more grand and get the whole car with it

we got a storm the other night and it made the creek run again and probably rose 40cm so another storm with a few inches would put a nice flood through the creek.
no rain today and warmish weather so bring on the wet weather tomorrow
