I saw the sleepy men banjo boys on david lettermen one night they are really good. Also if you are not aware steve martin is pretty good too.
Well now the task of trying to recall the week that was.
I met Brian at Cessnock where we made way to Ballina.
It was a pretty good trip up plenty of talking about all sorts of things.
The next morning we had a slow start as we had plenty of time to kill before getting to the Ho Har's.
We arrived just before mrs HH got there.
Soon after Glen(ZD) arrived, I felt very out of place :p .
Big thanks to Brian for coming along I do not know if you ever picked up on it at all but I was quite down a few parts along that route as the last time I did it or any big trip it was under different circumstances and it was great to have someone to distract me, I hope it was not to painful for you :)
The next night was AG night.
Unfortunately things did not go our way and got there just before the presentation(video).
It was great to start meeting more people and to see some old landys around.
Well Thursday did not disappoint either.
Went over to see Tim and check out his land rovers(nice collection) and had quite a bit of time chatting before I went back via Dan Murphys only because the GPS said it was Ikea(I got there in the end).
Ikea was my favourite shop/store in Sweden and quite often went there for a meal as well so I had to test it out to see how I would go.
After getting back to hotel land rover, Harry took me for a spin in the 101 to visit Glen and digger if you read this he has the best gun buggy ever and he even let me take it for a drive and taught(tried) me to drive an old series. It was my first legal drive of a series, Oh happy days :D
Thursday night was GDLROC meeting night where I met more aulro members and re-met some others which made it better for the following days.
Oh and I apparently met a wingding pom(there is always something) at some stage :p
But in all seriousness Dave.......(dam it what do I say here again) :p
And now for the main event
I woke up Friday morning at a time I did not know existed, packed the landys and hit the frog and toad.(probably more toad then frog though)
Had the best ride in the S1 and I think if the wind had changed at any point during that trip I would have a permanent smile on my face.
I am not big on words as you all know so I will let the pictures do the talking.

We met Weeds and Kevin on our way in and went to the campsite before going for a drive to see what we could work out(we did not work out anything).
We went on a interesting track that starts very basic to end up in low 1st and IIRC mrs HH had a fairly bumpy ride going down a hill with a very quiet engine.
