Jason, Commodore fuel pumps are the same as Land Rover, the only difference is the electrical connection.
Lionel, do you go to the P.A. or the Terrace? Can I shout you a coffee when you're in Brisvegas, please? :)
G'day Ian of the V8,
My good wife, Leeann and I will be stepping off the Tilt Train at Roma Street. My specialist is on Queen Street in the old T & G Building. The appointment is at 1:00 pm. We are then catching the Tilt Train at 5:00 pm at Roma Street to wend our way back home.
We are also trying to catch up with our two Brisbane based children (Adults). They will try and fit us into their hectic social, work/study life :p At this stage we do not know what our exact timeline is yet; apart from the train times and the specialist appointment.
This will be one of at least four train trips to Brisbane Ian so no doubt we can catch up at some stage.
Kind Regards
Lionel
Lionel you'll have to stay down here for a few days. We can take you to Mt Mee, I'm sure Jerry, Saich, Uncovered Toes Dave and other Northsiders will take advantage of any excuse for a trip back there. Steve has been making noises about an AULRO get-together at his estate (10L H2O cover charge ;)).
Where are your kids living?
Hello Ian,
I am not sure when the second Brisbane trip will be - it involves factors outside of my control ...government departments and such. The first trip is when Leeann is on holidays. Third and fourth trips depends on when the second trip is and specialist's availability. I had thought I would be fully sighted by August - now it is looking more like September.
Our son lives North-side and works in the city; daughter lives South-side and goes to University of Queensland. Our middle child - son, lives on the flash Gold Coast!
Kind Regards
Lionel
G'day All,
Hello Jason and other participants of "Embarrassment". I must make a special note that this thread and a number of others on AULRO are great contributors in keeping me relatively sane. Especially with my eyes being on the blink since April. Another assistance has been doing some blind tinkering on my Land Rovers.
How many times are you placed in a position doing work on Land Rovers where you cannot see your hands and go solely by feel anyway.
So thank you again Jason and other contributors to this thread and being able to keep in touch with fellow Series 3 owners, Holden Powered Series owners, SLOw members and General Chat people & Military Land Rovers - Leaf Sprung. Oh and "Other Powered Series Land Rovers. Thank youse all :)
Kind Regards
Lionel
