Congratulations mr and mrs Aus.
ThanksTony, now with a bit of capital freed up, I'm looking at solar panels for the roof. Trying to get quotes on a 3KW and maybe a 5KW system. Although with only two of us at home I have been told that probably a 3KW would be sufficient.:)
Ok so karen went to the doctors on Monday. He said that he's not going to do a blood test just yet & make more stress for me. He said it's probably nothing but if it happens again karen has to write it down in a diary as we can only be certain that it's only happened once before so for now we just keep a diary of it if it happens again. He said he's only 43 if he was 50 or over then he would of sent me straight away. Karen said to him but he smokes he drinks he eats what he wants. He said ahwellif he is enjoying it so be it its not like he can work or goes out much. BUT he did give Karen a script for me for the reflux so I started those on Tuesday its called APO-PANTOPROZOLE 40mg. So I guess I'm on these for ever , I don't think I've had heartburn or the burning up my throat or the small regurgitating I call (mini spew into my throat ) since being on them. So alps good now.
Oh I've been working on Harry all the panels are now all in primer bar the baulkhead which I'm doing now & making some mods to. Then I'll sand & prime it then I'll start painting them all. Have to find a secondhand accelerator pedal out of an early defender I think 200tdi.
Congratulations there young Jim and Mrs Jim:D
Good to hear the tabs seem to be working Jase.
Thanks for the good wishes Carolyn.:D Jason that drug is the same as the one I'm on. Another name for it is Pariet and yes it is a lifelong thing.
I've tried on cutting back on it as I don't like taking drugs at all, but after cutting back my reflux came back. You have to take it as (I believe) reflux puts a strain on your heart.
Anyrate you will find the reflux will ease off and you may get twinges every now ( rarely in my case)and then after a heavy meal. A drink of water eases the pain.:)
p.s. Just reread your post Jase and I note your tabs are 40mg, mine are 20mg.
Congratulations Jim & mrs aus. So will you be thinking of retiring in the near future. You could restore an old series.
