    Well we made the specialists appointment. It's on the 19th of April. At 9.45. Also had the mental health team ring me back. They have one of there doctors a psychiatrist ( lady ) and a nurse coming to see me on the 30th of March. Not sure why the nurse. But anyway. Will see how it all goes.

    Well, I have just returned from spending most of the day at Fort Scratchley. I have been talking to two other blokes about how to make the 40mm Bofor fire in a realistic manner without using real rounds or blanks.

    They have suggested converting it to a "gas gun" by taking the breach block out and putting electronics in to fire an amount of gas that is injected into the chamber from a cylinder and firing it by way of a spark plug. This method is used in war movies to make machine guns look like they a firing live rounds.

    When you are on the site click on the top left hand photo for a demo of a machine gun firing. Naturally it would be slowed down to the two rounds a second that a Bofor fires.................interesting times.
