Karen said a lot of the workers down at the new woolies park there thats why you now have to pay..
Karen use to work at the french hot bread shop opposit aldi on the other side of woolies she still does when the owner wants to go back home for visits (Viatnam) & they are having heaps of trouble down there with the workers..
theres many days they get into arguments over it..

Where they are doing the work there on the main rd side is just crap,i nearly smashed into a cop this mornin he turned into bilo street & i was right behind him when he desided to stop to chat to the hairdresser who was unloading her car in the no standing right on the corner.i dont think he was very inpressed cause i was about an inch off him to get out of the trafic coming up from the lights & i kept moving forward so he had to move he was giving dirty looks in his mirror i just smiled & kept moving forward he got the shats & moved wasnt happy though....
I am a customer of the barber in Harrison St; and he tells me the same thing. I can't understand it, if the workers and business owners block up all the car parks, how are they going to get customers?

Got this one from Western Australia of all places. I wanted a wheel cover with the "Landrover" logo on it, but I did'nt want any advertising for a product. I hit the jackpot because this one also had "Freelander" on it. Whaddya reckon!!!
I like the midle brake light i wouldnt be able to contain myself i would paint it up to look like a cartoon alien sticking its head out from behind the wheel..

I don't know why they made the centre stop light like that, possibly something to do with the rear window being able to raise an lower, which is good because you can get a nice breeze through the car if you lower slightly the front left window and lower the rear window.I still think they could have intergrated the stop light above the window in the frame or something. Looks like that alien who "phones home" or something. the car by the way is not "new" it is a 2001 model. The engine is a Rover V6, which is only 2.5 litres but develops 130KW of power. Goes OK but I would have thought if you are going to make a V6 at least make it a 3 litre, but thats the Poms for you.

What was the last engine Rover designed that was any good......................................hmm. Too hard? One things the pomms, especially Rover, have never been any good at is designing engines. Always too small, too under powered, too complicated, too heavy etc. But brilliant body/coachwork. The Yanks on the other hand always made good engines but couldn't design a decent car to save their lives.

You're right there mate, this engine is very complicated/computerised, the engine is brilliant when it is going and I love that Rover V6 exhaust note, it is unique. However, I have found the motor is very touchy, with a record of slipped cylinder liners etc, you would think in this day and age these sort of problems would be a thing of the past it is nearly as bad as the K1.8 litre four cylinder version, which I believe is a real headache.
