Thread: Embarrassment

Talking about shocks, my son was telling me at the weekend about his boss's dopey apprentice, who was using a circular saw to cut up timber one day. My son looked up just in time to see the apprentice's saw go ZZZZT across the top of the power lead. The apprentice didn't even notice and kept sawing. My son walked up, pointed to where the lead was hanging with the exposed wiring, and told the apprentice to look at what he had done. The apprentice said, "What, this?" - and stuck his finger on the exposed wire! Somehow, there was just enough plastic to prevent him from getting shocked. My son just called him the dopiest XXXXXXXXXXX he had ever met, turned off the power and wallked away.

When i was a labourer at the engineering shop they had put 2 apprentices
They had been there for a couple of weeks & one was changing the disc on a grinder & was told to make sure you unplug it as the gaurd on the on/off switch Had broken well this kid was in such a hurry he said na na its fine i'm know where near the switch , mind you he had the grinder on his lap Yep you know what happened he hit the switch & straight threw his leg right on knock off time. it went threw the top of his right leg on the inside .And cause i was the labourer i had to take him to the hospital , i said to the boss na i aynt going to sit up there for hours cause you wont pay me so i took him to the closest doctors & 45 minutes later & 87 stitches i went home..
