Yeah Banj, we have the grandkids over again this weekend, it is always fun keeping the little tikes amused when they can't go outside because of the rain!!

I could emagine .. Its funny how kids today dont play board games we brought some new ones a couple of years ago got monopaly played it maybe 3 times now if we get it out the kids run & hide..I play solitare with cards at the table & the kids just stare as if to say what are those things..
I said to Fred i'll show you how to play she said i know how to play but i use the poota cause you dont have to do as much work just click button..

Our 2 eldest boys came with us to the Kimberley in July and they played about 3 games of scrabble a day when they had the time. We all played cards at night usually.

Too busy cleaning here now to worry about games.

the Rural Fire Service communication team--I am a member, had been told to keep next weekend free, as we could have a lot of fires. It was the last weekend farmers could legally burn their property without a permit.

Now because of the rain, we will get the weekend off, John.

Im enjoying the rain over here Banjo,we are having a "normal" winter after a couple of very dry ones.
Keeping us VERY busy on the graders as the road itself is very dry,we put wet dirt on top,it dries very quickly,when it rains our dirt turns to slush,out we go again to sort it.
Last year it was so dry we didnt even to 1 lap of the Shire winter grading,we have already done 2 laps this year.
Helps having a fellow grader steerer that is prepared to do the hours,last bloke must have been doing HEAPS of sleeping under trees

Is it a normal winter rainfall Andy or are you having more than usual?

Our Dry season has been that this year. We usually get rain come in off the gulf but not this year. It has been consistently cool though.
