Calm down you lot!!! Well, I am now the proud owner of a car "Other Than LandRover"!!!

Well a quiet day at home today as its karens 40th so spending it at home ..

Glad use got the car Jim , now you can look around for a SERIES.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAREN!!! The Big 40 May there be many more Karen. As far as the Series is concerned, I am interested, still a LandRover Fan, Banjo and when I recover a bit financially I will be looking around for a project!!
Tomorrow is a big day, we are going to the Steamfest at Maitland, we have bought two tickets for seats in one of the trains in "The Great Train Race". Two steam trains on parallel tracks will race two Tigermoths from Newcastle to Maitland. Looking forward to it mate, should be a great day!!Here is a link to the Steamfest site.....

Hey Jase, am I still allowed to visit you with a car "Other Than LandRover" I'll be really nice!!!

We went to the Maitland Steamfest today and really enjoyed ourselves. We drove to Maitland to take our seats on a steam train and then we travelled to Newcastle.

Newcastle railway station. The loco unhooked and ran around to the other end of the train to hook up.

I don't know why those last pictures are sideways but anyway we returned to Maitland and the race was on, we raced another Loco with carriages full of people, and we were all waving to each other and taking pictures.


There was also a Tigermoth racing, but it was a bit knobbled., it had to do loops to make the race fairer.



We returned to Maitland after "Winning" the race and had a good time looking at other exhibits until rain forced us to give it away!!!
